Punk Goes Classic Rock (2010)

Punk Goes Classic Rock is the 9th release in the Punk Goes series, earlier Fearless Records has given us Punk goes Pop 1 & 2, Punk Goes 80´s, Punk Goes 90´s, Punk Goes Acoustic 1 & 2, Punk Goes Crunk and Punk Goes Metal.

Punk Goes Classic Rock is the best compilation of punk band doing covers, there are only 2 songs that I feel like skippin over and they´re ”Bohemian Rhapsody” by Never Shout Never and ”All along the watch tower” by Envy On The Coast.
Then we get a few decent versions worth hearing like ”Pour some sugar on me” by The Maine, ”Caught up in you” by We The Kings, ”Paint it black” by VersaEmerge and ”Rock and roll all nite” by The Summer Set.

The great covers are made by Hit The Lights ”More than a feeling”, Mayday Parade ”We are the champions”, The Almost ”Free falling”, A Skylit Drive ”Seperate ways”, I See Stars ”Your love”, Pierce The Veil ”Dont fear the reaper”, Forever The Sickest Kids ”Crazy train”, Every Avenue ”Take me home tonight” and BlessTheFall ”Dream on”. VERY NICE!
